The Federal Regional Court of the 5th Region announced that it will operate on an extraordinary shift schedule from 9am to 6pm, primarily remotely, and suspended the deadlines for judicial and administrative proceedings in progress within the court and linked sections until 30th April. During the shift, the assessment of matters such as habeas corpus and writ of mandamus is guaranteed; injunctive and anticipatory measures of any nature, including within the scope of special courts; communications of arrest in the act, requests for provisional release, imposition and replacement of precautionary measures other than imprisonment, and externment; representation of the police authority or the Public Prosecutor's Office with a view to decreeing preventive or temporary detention, among others. In-person attendance by parties, lawyers, prosecutors and members of the MP remains suspended. To facilitate contact between the parties, lawyers and prosecutors with members of the court, the TRF-5 publishes a list with the telephone numbers and e-mails of the judges and administrative area.
